Having Fun Building!
Where To Find Them?
We are trying to put together a site to provide tips and craftsman techniques to promote model railroading. While the primary focus is locomotives and rolling stock, we hope to expand into structures and scenery techniques. It's a work in progress and since no one is getting paid for this, we'll try to update contents when we can.
We would also like to provide information on where to find preserved and active Paduchbilt locomotives. From museums to short lines, these locomotives are still moving freight. Once we get things going, we would love to hear from you. If you see one, then please send a location and pictures if possible.

A good example would be Monticello Railway Museum where GP11 8733 is still running. More info: http://www.mrym.org/roster.html
Railroad Museums & Historical Societies
Railroad Museums and Historical Socities can be a great place to find information, drawings and pictures for modeling projects. Preserving history and equipment takes a lot of money and many hours of volunteer labor. Please do what you can to support these orginizations by joining, volunteering or donating.

The Illinois Central Railroad Heritage Association is a good example and you can find more info at: http://www.icrha.org/
